ZEISS Styli
How to achieve reproducible measurement results.
The stylus system has the biggest influence on the measurement result. And therefore, in this video our metrology expert, Philipp Wonschak, gives you the tip on: How to check your stylus for repeatability to easily achieve accurate and precise measurement results.

Did you know that not every sphere is really a round sphere?
If you take a closer look at a stylus sphere, it seems to be round. But is that true Our expert Philipp Wonschak gets to the bottom of this question and explains how ZEISS manages to guarantee absolute measurement reliability.

Do you know the difference between a ZEISS M3 XXT and a M3 (touch-trigger) stylus?
In this ZEISS Metrology Expert Tip video Philipp Wonschak explains in detail the difference between a ZEISS M3 XXT stylus and a M3 (touch-trigger) stylus. Furthermore, he addresses the question: why a normal M3 stylus should never be used with a VAST XXT probe.

How to avoid measurement inaccuracies due to wear
As your measurement device and therefore the associated ZEISS stylus is in constant use, you should check the stylus at regular intervals. In this video Philipp Wonschak shows you how you can easily detect signs of wear to avoid measurement inaccuracies.

Are you allowed to use the disc stylus on XXT systems?
In the last video of the ZEISS Metrology Expert Tip Season, our expert Philipp Wonschak answers a question that customers often ask us: Can disk stylus also be used on ZEISS XXT systems? You can find the answer in this video. It's worth watching!

ZEISS Adapter Plates
How to mount, fit and check adapter plates correctly?
If the adapter plates are no longer probably attached probe and wobbles, these effects the accuracy of the measurement result. Therefore, our expert, Philipp Wonschak, explains you in this video how to mount, fit and check ZEISS adapter plates correctly by yourself.

Do you know why there are adapter plates with integrated extensions?
In this video, our expert Philipp Wonschak reveals the specific advantages of an optimized adapter plate with directly integrated extension and how ZEISS manages to make the change from a normal adapter plate to one with integrated extension as easy as possible for you.

How to measure with very deep widths.
If you work with a large ZEISS ACCURA or ZEISS MMZ machine, you should not miss this tip. The problem with standard adapter plates is often that they can only measure up to a width of 800 mm without affecting the measurement result. However, this horizontal depth is not sufficient for large workpieces. ZEISS has the solution for this case.

ZEISS Extensions
Do you know why carbon fiber is the best material for extensions and offers an upgrade in terms of accuracy?
In this video, our expert Philipp Wonschak shows you how you can efficiently upgrade your ZEISS measuring device in terms of measuring accuracy. This is because the material from which the extensions are made has the greatest influence on the measuring accuracy.

Do you know how easy it is to assemble your extension?
For us at ZEISS, ZEISS extensions are also measuring instruments that should be checked carefully. In this video, our expert Philipp Wonschak shows you how to do this and how to assemble ZEISS extensions correctly. It’s easy! If you know how to do it!

Why is there no temperature expansion with ZEISS REACH CFX® Extensions?
There are also limits to the expansion of strains due to temperature changes so as not to influence the measurement result. In this video, our expert Philipp Wonschak shows you how temperature expansion can be prevented. Just a little hint: the material of the extension is a decisive factor.

Have you ever thought about limit values of the ZEISS VAST XXT probes?
In metrology, there are limits that must be observed. For example, compliance with various limit values for the ZEISS VAST XXT probe extensions are particularly important in order to achieve reliable measurement results. In this video, our expert Philipp Wonschak explains how these limit values are calculated and how to comply with them.

ZEISS Temperature Sensors
Do you know that the temperature of the measured part is important to get reliable results?
One of the biggest influences on the measurement result is not visible to us: the temperature of the component to be measured. That's why our expert Aline Nehm gives you three tips in the latest video on how you can control the temperature and thus ensure reliable measurement results.
